Legal, Compliance and AML Division / Legal Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing contracts concluded with the company's customers, partners, and suppliers to identify legal risks and, when necessary, preparing new contracts
• Addressing inquiries and questions related to the legal aspects of the company's operations;
• Conducting compliance investigations of new investment products and services in accordance with applicable legislation;
• Preparation of releases related to legislative innovations;
• Preparation o internal normative documents as well as legal examination of prepared documents,
• Drafting letters, orders and other documents, providing legal opinion on prepared documents,
• Conducting legal investigations and preparing opinions;
• Examination of international legal practice in different areas of the securities market and preparation of proposals
• Preparing reports in accordance with the guidelines established by the direct supervisor;
• Executing written and verbal instructions from the direct supervisor.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in the field of law, master's degree is desirable;
• Work experience: at least 3 years of work experience in the financial sector, rulemaking, civil sector, including contract management;
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel;
• Strong communication skills;
• Fluency in both English and Azerbaijani; proficiency in Russian is preferable.
