Job Title: Full-Stack Web Developer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM UK Time

Job Brief

We are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to develop scalable software solutions. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Full-Stack Developer, you should be comfortable working with both front-end and back-end technologies, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a strong understanding of visual design and software functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Work with development teams and product managers to create software solutions.

  • Design both client-side and server-side architecture.

  • Build front-end applications with appealing and responsive visual design.

  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.

  • Write effective APIs for seamless integration between various systems.

  • Test software to ensure responsiveness, security, and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

  • Implement security and data protection measures.

  • Ensure applications have a mobile-responsive design.

  • Deploy SaaS applications and provide examples of previous projects.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in AI and LLM technologies.

  • Write and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or in a similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience deploying SaaS applications.

  • Hands-on experience with API development, particularly RESTful APIs.

  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).

  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., Python, PHP, C#, Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Node.js, Angular).

  • Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (e.g., Apache).

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to finalise and package provided code rather than developing everything from scratch.

  • Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Comfortable using screen monitoring software such as Time Doctor or Timeproof.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is desirable but not essential.

Salary

$15,000 per annum
