About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Audiologist to join our dynamic audiology team. This role requires flexibility to work across various locations, delivering high-quality audiological services on an ad hoc basis. You will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive hearing assessments, expert advice on hearing solutions, and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments to identify hearing impairments.
• Offer professional advice on and fitting of hearing aids from leading manufacturers such as Phonak, Oticon, and Starkey, tailored to patient needs.
• Provide counselling to patients and their families on hearing health and effective communication strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Commit to continuous professional development to ensure the highest standard of care and stay informed of the latest industry advancements.

Requirements:

• HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) licensed Audiologist.
• A strong background in audiology, with proven experience dispensing Phonak, Oticon, and Starkey hearing aids.
• Ability to travel between clinics as needed; a valid driving licence is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Commitment to professional development and adherence to the latest industry standards and practices.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate of £45, reflecting the expertise and flexibility required for the role.
