Position: Trainee Hear Care Assistant/Microsuction Assistant
Location: South London (Wimbledon, Twickenham, South Croydon, Clapham Common, East Dulwich, and Bromley)
Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week, divided into 4-hour shifts over 5 days)
Salary: £13,000 - £17,500 per annum + Commission Rates

Role Overview

The Hear Care Assistant/Microsuction Assistant will be responsible for providing microsuction ear wax removal to our patients, engaging in patient interactions, conducting screening tests, and supporting the overall clinic administration. The role requires flexibility to travel between our various South London clinics and a commitment to delivering top-tier patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform microsuction ear wax removal procedures.
  • Conduct initial patient assessments and screening tests.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinic administration duties.
  • Ensure the clinic is well-stocked and organised.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and patient care.
  • Support the overall running of hearing care services.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to maintain high standards of care.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a clinical or medical setting.
  • Training in microsuction/earwax removal will be provided.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple clinic locations in South London.
  • Valid driving licence is useful but not essential.
