Job Summary: We are seeking a highly energetic and proven Regional Director of Operations to oversee the strategic and operational performance of five Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities in Southern Illinois. Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership & Performance:
- Provide dynamic leadership and strategic direction to facility administrators and their teams across all five LTC facilities.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., IDPH, CMS).
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.
- Implement best practices and standardized processes to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive initiatives to enhance resident outcomes, safety, and overall quality of life.
- Financial Management:
- Collaborate with facility leadership to develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring financial viability and profitability.
- Analyze financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to control costs and maximize revenue.
- Oversee resource allocation and ensure efficient utilization of staff, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Development & Culture:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate facility administrators, fostering a strong leadership team.
- Promote a positive, high-energy, and collaborative work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
- Implement effective employee engagement strategies and professional development programs.
- Champion a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and resident-centered care.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all facilities maintain exemplary survey results and are in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement proactive risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Oversee incident reporting and investigation processes, ensuring timely and appropriate actions.
- Growth & Expansion:
- Actively participate in strategic planning for regional growth and potential new acquisitions.
- Lead the successful integration of new facilities into the regional portfolio as the company expands.
- Identify opportunities for market penetration and service line expansion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) operations, with at least 3-5 years in a multi-site regional role.
- Proven track record of success in improving operational performance, financial outcomes, and regulatory compliance in LTC settings.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing LTC facilities in Illinois (IDPH, CMS).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
