About the job LNHA (Westmont, IL)

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Location: Naperville, IL

Facility Profile: 140-Bed Skilled Nursing | Rising Census | Memory Care & Dialysis

Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 (Based on experience)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-energy, customer-service-driven LNHA to lead our 140-bed skilled nursing facility in Naperville. With a rising census and specialized units for Memory Care and Dialysis, we need a leader who is "the face of the building"—someone who thrives on being visible, understands the pulse of the facility, and prioritizes resident and family satisfaction above all else.

What makes this different? We have dedicated corporate and site-level support to handle the heavy lifting of admissions and financial oversight. Your mission is to focus on operational excellence, staff accountability, and the resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Presence & Culture: Spend the majority of your day "in the halls"—engaging with staff, residents, and families to ensure a high-standard, hospitality-focused environment.
  • Operational Accountability: Take full responsibility for the daily "happenings" within the facility, ensuring departments (Nursing, Memory Care, Dialysis, Dietary) are aligned and performing.
  • Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for family concerns and community relations, turning feedback into actionable improvements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility remains in a constant state of survey readiness, particularly within the specialized Memory Care and Dialysis units.
  • Leadership & Retention: Foster a culture of accountability where staff feel supported but held to high standards of care and conduct.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A "People Person": You believe that a nursing home is a home first. You know your residents by name and your staff by their strengths.
  • Responsible & Accountable: You don't wait for reports; you see whats happening in real-time and take ownership of the results.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current, unencumbered Illinois LNHA License.
  • Must have a minimum of 2–5 years of experience as an Administrator in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
  • Proven track record of maintaining high-quality care and strong regulatory standing.
  • Exceptional communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary ($130k–$160k) with performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Freedom from Admissions/Finance: Dedicated teams handle the paperwork so you can lead the people.
