Role Overview:

The Senior Wintel Engineer is responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux-based environments, including Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and OS-related applications. The role ensures system stability, security, and high availability while leading technical recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Windows Server (2012/2019), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ISCSI, WSUS, and clustering.

• Manage Hyper-V virtualization and perform daily system health checks.

• Develop and implement PowerShell scripts for automation.

• Support Linux environments (RedHat, CentOS) and administer Samba Active Directory.

• Diagnose and resolve Microsoft & virtualization-related issues.

• Lead technical recovery and disaster recovery efforts.

• Conduct server decommissioning, patch management, and change management.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2019) Active Directory.

• Certifications preferred: MCSE, RHCE, RHCVA, VMware.

• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, RHEL, RHV, and Windows Server administration.

Additional Requirements:

• May require occasional after-hours work for system maintenance.
