As400 Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain DevOps practices to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize ALDON for automation of software deployment on AS400 platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and support payment systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployment processes, resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Enhance the CI/CD pipeline for seamless integration and delivery of applications.
• Contribute to infrastructure management, including provisioning, scaling, and securing environments.
• Document processes, workflows, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with ALDON for automated software deployment on AS400 systems.
• Strong understanding of payment systems and related workflows.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Knowledge of AS400 systems and deployment workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern DevOps methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Knowledge of security practices in DevOps and payment systems.
• Certification in DevOps or related technologies is a plus.
