An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join a growing accountancy practice in Buckinghamshire.

This role would suit a part-qualified accountant, or someone with strong practical audit and accounts experience, who is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the planning and completion of audit assignments
  • Supporting audit fieldwork and preparing accurate audit working papers
  • Preparing accounts for a range of clients across different sectors
  • Supporting both audit and accounts assignments from start to completion
  • Liaising with clients and responding to queries professionally
  • Working closely with senior team members, managers and partners
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
  • Maintaining accurate working papers, files and supporting documentation
  • Developing technical knowledge across audit, accounts and compliance
  • Building confidence in client communication and relationship management

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Around 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice environment
  • Certificate Level qualification or equivalent progress through professional study
  • Ideally 4+ Professional Level exams passed
  • Experience across audit and accounts work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and client-facing skills
  • A proactive and organised approach
  • A genuine interest in continuing to develop technically and professionally
