Estimator | Leicestershire | £50,000 - £60,000 + car allowance + bonus

We are recruiting for an Estimator for one of our award-winning clients within the housebuilding sector.  Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for estimating costs for residential developments ensuring that projects are delivered to budget, on time while maintaining the high standards of the Company.  For someone who's ambitious and wants to work for a Company that value and support their employees, it may well be the place for you.

Main Responsibilities

• Land appraisal and budget management
• Working with the Land, Technical & Sales teams to ensure alignment with costs, project timelines, sales revenue, and land bid schedules 
• Site assessment visits
• Identify opportunities for cost savings/recommend alternative approaches for non-standard works
• Health & safety compliance
• Financial reporting
• Attend management and departmental meetings on and off-site

About You

• Minimum three years' experience in estimating or cost management within the construction or housebuilding sector
• Strong numeracy skills with exceptional attention to detail in financial data analysis and reporting
• Solid understanding of UK building regs, NHBC and sustainability codes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
• Excellent communication skills for building strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders
• Problem solving/think on your feet mindset.
• Strong IT Proficiency including experience with commercial systems.
