Job Description:
This is a 5 - month contract with our client in the Fintech industry.
We are seeking candidates primarily based in Douala or Yaoundé. Exceptional international applicants may be considered, provided they are willing to travel to Cameroon periodically and meet all necessary legal, immigration, and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Operations: Manage production support, application health metrics (crash rates, latency), and app store releases across iOS, Android, Web, and USSD.
- Incident & Vendor Management: Lead troubleshooting, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and manage cloud/third-party vendor escalations within SLAs.
- Observability & Performance: Drive proactive monitoring (logging, tracing, alerting) using APM tools to optimize customer transaction success rates.
- Governance: Maintain operational runbooks, support Disaster Recovery (DR/BCP) testing, and produce executive-level health reports.
Core Requirements
- Experience: 5–8 years in Digital Application Support, including 3+ years supporting high-scale Mobile Apps, Digital Banking, or Fintech platforms.
- Technical Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with iOS, Android, API management, and third-party SDK integrations.
- Tooling & Cloud: Proficiency with observability stacks (e.g., Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Firebase) and Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) within a DevOps CI/CD environment.
- Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation, Cloud Associate, or Agile/Scrum credentials.
