Job Description:
This is a 5 – month contract with our client in the Fintech sector.
We are seeking candidates primarily based in Douala or Yaoundé. Exceptional international applicants may be considered, provided they are willing to travel to Cameroon periodically and meet all necessary legal, immigration, and business requirements.
Our client is looking for Business Analysts to act as the primary bridge between Business, Product, and Engineering to translate demand into clear functional requirements for their Next Generation Mobile App and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand & Requirements: Map customer journeys and facilitate design-thinking workshops. Write high-quality BRDs, FRDs, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Backlog & Governance: Own and groom the Next Gen demand backlog. Maintain end-to-end requirement traceability.
- Testing & Architecture: Collaborate with Architecture on technical feasibility and support UAT planning, execution, and production sign-off.
Requirements include:
- Experience: 5–8 years total | 3+ years in FinTech Digital Banking
- Technical Profile Required
- Domain: FinTech, Mobile Money, or Digital Banking/Mobile App environments (Minimum 3 years).
- Methodologies: Agile/Scrum and Waterfall frameworks; BABOK principles.
- Skills: Customer Journey Mapping, User Story development, Backlog grooming, and SQL/Data analysis.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Advantageous: CBAP/CCBA, Agile (CSPO/PSPO), or ITIL certifications.
