Job Description:
Two (2) Intermediate Software Testers for a period of 12 months.
Candidate with IT-related diploma or higher; or ISTQB foundation certification and minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in the following testing functions:
Test cases design
Test effort estimation
Functional and automation testing
Web applications testing
SharePoint testing
Mobile application testing
Defect management
RPA or PowerApps certifications will be advantageous.
The scope of work will include:
Analyze business and automation requirements to understand what the RPA bots and PowerApps solutions are expected to do.
Create test plans that define the scope, objectives, and approach for testing RPA bots and PowerApps solutions.
Develop detailed test cases that cover various scenarios, including edge cases, to ensure all aspects of the functionality is tested.
Validate individual components or scripts to ensure they work as expected.
Test the solutions in a real or simulated environment to ensure it performs the expected tasks correctly.
Verify that the RPA bot and PowerApps solutions interact correctly with other systems, applications, and bots.
Ensure that any new changes or fixes dont break existing functionality.
Log any issues or defects found during testing, with detailed steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results.
Work closely with RPA and PowerApps developers to resolve identified defects, retest, and ensure they are fixed.
Generate test summary reports to communicate the quality and readiness of the bot and apps for production deployment.
Assess the speed, efficiency, and reliability of the RPA bots and PowerApps solutions under various conditions and loads.
Ensure that the RPA bot and PowerApps solutions adheres to security protocols and does not introduce vulnerabilities (e.g., by managing sensitive data properly).
Verify that the RPA bot and PowerApps solution comply with regulatory requirements specific to the industry, such as data privacy laws.
Maintain proper documentation of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results.
Recommend improvements to the RPA bots and PowerApps solutions testing process based on lessons learned and best practices.
Work with business analysts, RPA developers, PowerApps developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the automation and software solution.
Provide feedback during the design phase to help improve automation processes before they reach testing.
Assist in the user acceptance testing phase by providing guidance, test cases, and helping users understand what to test.
Keep up with the latest RPA and PowerApps tools, testing methodologies, and industry trends to enhance testing strategies and automation effectiveness.
The following other items will also be required:
Experience using tools such as Blue Prism and Microsoft PowerApps will be advantageous.
