Role Description

This is a contract role for an Intermediate Business Analyst - Banking located in Sandton, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves analyzing business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to support banking operations.

To apply a set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison amongst stakeholders in order to understand the problems; opportunities; needs; structure; policies and operations of the organisation on medium to large projects / medium risk. To recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals and to elicit and analyse the actual needs of the stakeholders; facilitate communication between organisational units and play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with the capabilities delivered by information technology and may serve as a translator between these groups.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector
  • Proven BA experience on complex and enterprise level projects, in an agile environment
  • Relevant BA qualifications and certifications
  • Business Process Engineering experience highly advantageous
  • Jira, Confluence
  • Knowledge of banking systems, processes, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies
