A premier property development firm is seeking a skilled Accountant with expertise in fund management to join their team. This permanent role focuses on maintaining accurate financial and tax reporting while ensuring effective accounting and reporting controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining precise financial and tax reporting for fund management activities.
  • Overseeing group reporting, taxation, and consolidation processes.
  • Implementing and managing accounting controls and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • B. Com Honours or Bachelors Degree in Accounting (B. Com).
  • Articles will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a senior accounting/reporting role, particularly in fund management.
  • Staff management experience will be advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Office.
  • Experience with accounting software such as CaseWare and Draftworx.
  • Cognos experience will be advantageous.
