Job Description:

This is a 6 – month contract with our client in the Fintech industry

We are seeking an objective, analytical Manager: AI Value Realisation Engineer to establish financial and operational discipline across our AI ecosystem.

Key Performance Areas

  • Value Framework Design: Build and maintain standard methodologies to accurately quantify AI impact across revenue uplift, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and productivity gains.
  • Benefits Tracking & Validation: Audit and track realized AI benefits against original business cases, clearly separating direct AI-attributed ROI from indirect, correlated business noise.
  • Value Leakage Diagnosis: Proactively hunt down gaps between forecast and actual value. Identify root causes of leakage—whether due to low user adoption, process friction, model limitations, or cloud cost overruns—and recommend corrective action.
  • Portfolio & Investment Analytics: Model ROI, payback periods, and break-even points across the AI portfolio to steer funding decisions based on hard evidence, not advocacy.
  • Executive Transparency: Translate complex technical data into concise, board-ready financial and strategic insights for steering committees and governance forums.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Data, or a related quantitative field.

Experience & Competencies:

  • 5+ years of dedicated experience in Value Realisation, Performance Management, Finance, Strategy, or Business Analytics.
  • A proven track record of successfully quantifying and auditing the financial value of complex digital, cloud, analytics, or technology transformations.
  • Strong commercial and economic modelling skills (ROI, NPV, efficiency metrics) coupled with an analytical approach to technology.
  • Highly Advantageous: Experience within Fintech, Financial Services, Telecommunications, or heavily regulated environments.
  • Preferred: Practical exposure to the mechanics of AI/ML models, advanced analytics workloads, or digital platforms.

Working Place:
