Job Requirements:
- Video Editing Experience: 2.5-5 years of experience in video editing, with a focus on social media content, preferably for real estate, lifestyle, or entrepreneurship.
- Proficiency with Editing Tools: Skilled in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar, with a strong grasp of current editing trends and styles.
- Quick Turnaround Capability: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality edits quickly, particularly for short-form content under 60 seconds.
- Social Media Savvy: Knowledgeable in best practices for video formats and trends across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok; experience with social media scheduling tools like Later is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to understand and execute feedback accurately, ensuring quality and brand alignment in all content.
- Independent and Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work independently, and deliver visually compelling content with minimal supervision.
Core responsibilities:
- Video Editing for Long and Short Formats: Edit both long-form interview content and short-form, dynamic videos for social media, maintaining a cohesive brand aesthetic.
- Turnaround Efficiency: Prioritize fast turnaround times, especially for event-related or timely content, ensuring relevance and quality are met promptly.
- Content Repurposing: Extract engaging clips from long-form content to create multiple short-form videos, driving traffic from social media platforms to YouTube.
- Social Media Posting Support: Assist with posting and scheduling content across social media platforms using scheduling tools (e.g., Later) to maintain consistent engagement.
- Platform Optimization: Edit videos specifically for each platforms best practices, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, optimizing visual appeal, resolution, and formatting.
- Collaborative Feedback Integration: Work closely with the team, incorporating feedback effectively and quickly to deliver finalized, polished content that aligns with project goals and audience expectations.
