Job Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in architectural design, with at least [2-3] years in a senior or project leadership role focused on Australian projects.
- Experience working remotely is required.
- Australian Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and construction practices is essential.
- Licensure: Licensed architect, or in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
- Efficiency in Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple Australian projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to Australian clients in a virtual environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify project challenges specific to Australian architecture and to Cobild Standards.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in both design and documentation, with a focus on compliance with Australian standards.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working independently in a remote setting, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
Core responsibilities:
- Design Development: Assisting the Design Manager in reviewing and tracking design process and completeness for each of our projects.
- Technical Documentation: Review and track detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and BIM software, with a focus on Australian building standards and practices.
- Project Management: Assit the Design Manager in creating and tracking Design Programs for our projects, and in following up Cobild Design processes and checklist with our project teams.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and Project teams, designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure the delivery of quality documentation and design outcomes.
- Remote Coordination: Utilize virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) to communicate effectively with team members and clients across Australia.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs and documents meet Cobilds high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with Australian building regulations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Australian architecture and remote project management.
