Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Draftsperson in the electrical or solar industry, with a strong portfolio of CAD drawings. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit or other 3D modeling software is a plus. In-depth knowledge of electrical and solar system components, wiring diagrams, and installation practices. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.

Core responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with electrical engineers, solar designers, and project managers to gather project specifications and requirements. Create detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for electrical systems, solar panel layouts, and associated components. Ensure all drawings reflect compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety protocols. Incorporate design changes and updates based on feedback from engineering and installation teams. Assist in the preparation of construction documents and permit applications. Maintain organized drawing files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
