Role Overview

A Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase client sales and talent pool. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends.

Responsibilities

  1. Social Media Strategy:

    • Develop, implement, and manage the company's social media strategy.
    • Define the most important social media KPIs.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
    • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams.
  2. Content Creation:

    • Create and manage content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Write, edit, and publish engaging posts, videos, and stories.
    • Design and implement social media campaigns.
  3. Community Management:

    • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages on time.
    • Foster a sense of community around the brand.
    • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.
  4. Analytics and Reporting:

    • Analyze social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
    • Report on social media metrics and ROI.
    • Use data to adjust and improve social media strategy.
  5. Brand Advocacy:

    • Positively promote the Outsourcey's services to clients and talents.
    • Ensure brand consistency in social media messages by working with various company departments.
  6. Collaborations and Partnerships:

    • Identify and build relationships with influencers and industry experts.
    • Collaborate with other brands and organizations to create mutually beneficial partnerships.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media platforms.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Experience with social media analytics and monitoring tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Excellent multitasking and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset and a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels.
  • Experience in graphic design and video editing.

Work Environment:

  • Remote work with occasional need to work onsite marketing content and materials.
