Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Construction Estimator

Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Planswift).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Core responsibilities:

Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.

Conduct quantity take-offs, solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, and calculate labor, material, and equipment costs.

Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and ensure all necessary documentation is included.

Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of services and materials.

Assist in developing project budgets and monitor actual costs versus estimated costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and alternative material/method suggestions.

Evaluate project risks and uncertainties that may impact costs and prepare contingency plans accordingly.
