Strong English communication skills Minimum 2.5 years proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk, with strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, as well as Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet analysis. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and financial calculations.
Core responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Record financial transactions, such as invoices, receipts, payments, and bank deposits, in accounting software or spreadsheets. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions. Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers. Generate invoices for goods or services provided to clients or customers and follow up on outstanding payments. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients on overdue invoices to facilitate timely collections. Calculate and process employee payroll, including wages, bonuses, taxes, and deductions.
What We Are Looking For: - Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal - Minimum of 2.5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk - Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet analysis - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and financial calculations - Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries - Familiarity with reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts - Ability to process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments - Experience generating and following up on invoices for clients or customers - Knowledge of monitoring accounts receivable aging and facilitating timely collections - Proficiency in calculating and processing employee payroll, including wages, bonuses, taxes, and deductions - Strong organizational skills to ensure no data is missed.
