Recruiting Experience: Minimum 2 years in recruitment, candidate screening, or talent acquisition, preferably with high-growth or sales-driven teams. Technical Fluency: Hands-on experience using Indeed, Google Sheets, and applicant tracking platforms; confident in managing metrics like cost-per-apply and applicant flow. Screening Expertise: Strong understanding of resume filtering, behavioral interviewing, and evaluating soft skills such as personality fit and drive. Communication Skills: Clear and confident communicator, comfortable leading candidate interactions and providing feedback to hiring managers. Organizational Agility: Ability to manage multiple job roles and hiring pipelines at once without missing follow-ups or timelines. Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with commission-based roles or recruiting in roofing, construction, or fast-paced sales environments is a plus.
Core responsibilities:
Job Ad Management: Post, monitor, and optimize job listings across platforms like Indeed to attract high-quality applicants for roofing sales and admin roles. Resume Filtering & Candidate Screening: Scrub applications with a sharp eye for coachability, red flags, and role fit - conducting initial phone and video screenings to assess motivation and alignment. Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers (sales trainers, area managers, and administrative leads), managing calendars and confirmations. Performance Tracking: Monitor apply rates, cost-per-click, and cost-per-apply; suggest improvements to copy, targeting, or spend to increase conversion. Pipeline Management: Maintain up-to-date applicant tracking across Google Sheets or ATS tools, following up with inactive leads and coordinating next steps. Hiring & Onboarding Handoff: Present shortlist recommendations to leadership and facilitate the transition of new hires into onboarding and training phases with HR.
