Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in CAD design or drafting, with a preference for plumbing-related projects and proficiency in software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor. 
• Strong understanding of drafting principles and technical drawing standards, including GD&T. Knowledge of plumbing design practices and industry-specific standards. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail for interpreting technical requirements.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and conveying design concepts. 
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering techniques to effectively communicate plumbing design intent.

Core responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and schematics for plumbing-related projects based on specifications and design standards. 
• Translate conceptual sketches into precise 2D or 3D plumbing designs, incorporating necessary dimensions, annotations, and symbols.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to refine plumbing design concepts and layouts to meet project objectives. 
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, ensuring compliance with client needs and regulatory requirements specific to plumbing systems.
• Design plumbing components and assemblies, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and manufacturability. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to review plumbing designs and resolve technical issues, maintaining design integrity. 
• Conduct quality checks on plumbing drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and technical specifications.
