Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 Years of Experience Proven experience in lead generation, sales, or related roles, with a focus on cold email outreach and local business engagement. 
  • Excellent Written Communication Strong skills in crafting professional, effective emails that resonate with potential sponsors, with attention to detail in contextualizing outreach. 
  • Proficiency in Research Tools Ability to use online tools and databases to locate and gather contact information for potential sponsors within the local area. 
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace Experience using Gmail, Google Sheets, and other Google tools for managing outreach efforts and tracking leads.
  • Strong Organizational Skills Ability to maintain detailed and accurate logs of outreach activities, ensuring efficient tracking and reporting of leads. 
  • Alignment with Values Commitment to supporting community-focused initiatives, with a proactive and diligent work ethic to drive meaningful sponsorship engagement for events.

Core responsibilities:

  • Research Local Businesses Conduct in-depth research to identify potential sponsors within the local community, specifically focusing on businesses aligned with fundraising events like car shows, 5K races, and golf tournaments.
  • Cold Email Outreach Craft personalized email templates and send targeted outreach emails to potential sponsors, ensuring accurate contextualization for each event and business. 
  • Manage Email Campaigns Use provided email accounts (Gmail) to manage communication, track responses, and coordinate follow-ups with internal teams when sponsors engage.
  • Track and Report Leads Maintain a detailed log of outreach efforts using cloud-based Excel sheets, ensuring transparency and accessibility for the team to monitor progress. 
  • Follow Up Communication Assist with scheduling follow-ups for potential sponsors, directing successful leads back to internal contacts for further relationship building. 
  • Collaborate on Sponsorship Strategy Work closely with leadership to align outreach strategies with organizational goals and event-specific needs, providing insights from lead generation efforts.
