Recruiter – End-to-End Talent Acquisition

Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Arrangement: Remote / Work from Home
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years' Australian recruitment experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Internal Recruiter to manage the complete recruitment lifecycle across a variety of professional and operational roles.

This is a hands-on position requiring strong headhunting, candidate sourcing and relationship-management skills. You will proactively identify high-quality candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, social media, referrals, internal databases and other sourcing channels.

The successful candidate must understand the Australian employment market, candidate expectations and professional communication standards.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing and Headhunting

  • Proactively headhunt passive and active candidates.
  • Source talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, Indeed and other relevant job boards.
  • Use social media, professional networks, industry groups, referrals, talent databases and direct outreach.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill and specialist positions.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date internal talent database.

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the complete recruitment process from job briefing through to placement and onboarding.
  • Work with management and hiring managers to understand position requirements.
  • Prepare and post clear, professional job advertisements.
  • Review applications and shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Conduct initial screening calls and structured interviews.
  • Assess candidates against experience, technical capability, communication skills, cultural fit and salary expectations.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Obtain references and complete required background checks.
  • Prepare candidate summaries and recommendations.
  • Manage offer negotiations, documentation and candidate acceptance.
  • Support onboarding and conduct post-placement follow-ups.

Candidate and Stakeholder Management

  • Provide candidates with clear and timely updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver a professional candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding.
  • Follow up consistently to maintain momentum and reduce candidate drop-off.
  • Provide recruitment updates, pipeline reports and hiring recommendations to management.

Key Performance Expectations

  • Consistently source qualified candidates within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain active pipelines across priority roles.
  • Achieve recruitment and placement targets.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information.
  • Deliver high-quality shortlists rather than high-volume, unsuitable applications.
  • Demonstrate strong candidate engagement and follow-up.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum five years' recruitment experience supporting the Australian market.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment.
  • Strong headhunting and direct candidate sourcing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit through multiple channels and sourcing avenues.
  • Advanced LinkedIn, job-board and candidate-database search skills.
  • Strong understanding of Australian workplace expectations and recruitment practices.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong interviewing, candidate-assessment and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, CRMs or recruitment databases.
  • Highly organised, proactive and accountable.
  • Comfortable working independently in a target-driven environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience recruiting across professional services, construction, accounting, administration, customer service, sales, marketing, technology or operations.
  • Experience sourcing offshore professionals for Australian businesses.
  • Experience recruiting both high-volume and specialist positions.
  • Existing professional networks and candidate pipelines.

What Success Looks Like

You consistently identify strong candidates before competitors, maintain an active talent pipeline, communicate professionally with all stakeholders and take full ownership of every vacancy from initial briefing through to successful onboarding.
