Shift Schedule: 7am-3pm EST (w/ some flexibility)
Our client is looking for a Mechanical/Electrical Estimator with strong industry experience to support their estimating and pre-construction efforts. The ideal candidate will handle quantity takeoffs, supplier coordination, and project documentation, while potentially supporting project management duties.

Objectives of this role:
Support accurate and efficient preparation of project estimates.
Ensure organized documentation and smooth coordination within the estimating team.
Contribute to delivering competitive proposals aligned with client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical quantity takeoffs.
Review and analyze project specifications.
Coordinate with suppliers for material pricing.
Use tools such as AutoBid and AccuBid for estimates.
Organize and maintain project folders.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and respond to email correspondence.
Utilize AutoCAD for reviewing and annotating project plans.
Collaborate with the current estimator and, if applicable, assist in project management tasks.
Required skills and qualifications:
Proven experience in mechanical/electrical estimating.
Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, AutoBid, AccuBid, and AutoCAD.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and adapt.
Industry experience is required.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Background or interest in project management.
Experience organizing digital project documentation and folders.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members remotely.
