Schedule:  (up to 6 hours a day/ 7 days a week)
Actual hours: TBD (Possible: 9AM - 5PM PST | 2PM - 8PM PST)

As a Sales Development Representative, your mission is to engage with followers on Instagram via Meta Business Suite by providing helpful, timely responses, identifying sales opportunities, and escalating high-ticket leads to a supervisor. You’ll introduce relevant services or products, maintain a warm and supportive brand voice, and share insights with the team to help refine engagement strategies.

Our client is a relationship-focused organization with a strong digital presence, including a large social media following of nearly 1 million across various platforms. Their offerings range from low-ticket digital resources to high-ticket retreats and coaching intensives. The company has a team of 8 in marketing, and the sales function is currently handled by the founder.

Objectives of this role:

  • To convert inbound Instagram engagement into qualified sales opportunities through timely, accurate, and empathetic communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound Instagram DMs using a structured sales script

  • Engage in genuine conversations with followers to understand their needs

  • Qualify leads and introduce relevant services or products

  • Escalate high-ticket opportunities to the closer

  • Track DM conversations and outcomes

  • Collaborate with the team to improve messaging and campaign effectiveness

  • Collaborate with the team via Slack to refine approach and share insights

  • Follow established processes from the sales playbook

  • Maintain high responsiveness during assigned shift

  • Report directly to the Integrator (acting President)

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent written English communication

  • Ability to follow and adapt sales scripts in DMs

  • Proactive and empathetic problem-solving approach

  • Familiarity with Instagram DM tools like Meta Business Suite

  • Comfortable navigating emotional or sensitive topics

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience in sales development or social media outreach

  • Prior exposure to wellness, coaching, or relationship-focused brands

  • Familiarity with Slack or similar team communication tools

  • Knowledge of lead qualification processes

  • Understanding of value ladders and funnel strategy
