The Asset Management Analyst will support the asset management team by analyzing financial data, assisting with lease agreements, and improving monthly reports. This role requires strong financial acumen, expertise in Excel, and an understanding of real estate expenses and vendor management. The analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring data clarity and aiding portfolio management decisions.

Objectives of this role:
Maximize the value and income of the company’s real estate portfolio
Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting
Assist in asset management initiatives
Support due diligence and underwriting for new acquisitions
Maintain organized financial data and operational tracking systems
Perform various ad hoc analyses to support senior management team's strategic decision-making
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis, including cash flow assessments
Manage and update monthly reports with accurate data
Assist in filling out lease agreements and assessing new leases
Work extensively with Excel for data analysis, report creation, and dashboard development
Ensure accurate transcription of portfolio performance data
Collaborate directly with the asset manager to improve data clarity
Identify and address inefficiencies in reporting and data management
Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field
Strong financial understanding, particularly in cash flow analysis
Experience in financial modeling and underwriting
Baseline real estate knowledge, including lease agreements and expenses
High proficiency in Excel (creating reports, dashboards, and calculations)
Familiarity with cloud-based systems and office suites
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to break down complex conversations
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred skills and qualifications
Understanding of lease and deal structures
Strong presentation skills for conveying data insights
Background in real estate asset management or related fields
