Remote Web Designer WordPress & Shopify

Outsource Ability, on behalf of our valued client, is seeking a talented Remote Web Designer to design, build, and maintain websites across WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce. This role is ideal for a creative, technically skilled designer who thrives in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and manage websites on WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce

Build responsive, visually engaging pages using front-end builders such as Elementor or Divi

Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, optimised for speed, and deliver excellent UX/UI

Collaborate with marketing and content teams to maintain brand consistency

Troubleshoot, update, and enhance existing websites

Stay current with web design trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements:

Proven experience designing and building websites on WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce

Expertise with front-end builders such as Elementor and Divi

Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI and responsive design skills

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web optimisation principles

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

Bonus but not required:

Experience with SEO best practices and website analytics

Familiarity with custom coding or advanced plugin customisation
