Introduction
Our client, a UK-based e-commerce brand, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Executive to support day-to-day supply chain and logistics activity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in fast-moving environments, and is confident managing suppliers, freight partners, and 3PL relationships.
This is a fully remote position offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly for a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Procurement

Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders, from raising POs with suppliers to confirming stock arrival at the UK warehouse.

Coordinate freight and shipping timelines, ensuring all documentation is accurate and shipments stay on schedule.

Maintain accurate inventory records across systems, ensuring stock levels are always up to date.

Identify potential delays or issues early and work with suppliers or freight partners to resolve them quickly.

Support forecasting by tracking sell-through and helping plan future stock needs.

Communicate regularly with suppliers to confirm timelines, lead times, and production updates.
Logistics & 3PL Management

Act as the primary point of contact for the companys 3PL partner, ensuring smooth operational performance.

Create and manage ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notices) for all inbound shipments.

Monitor the 3PL portal and Shopify daily to ensure customer orders flow correctly through fulfilment.

Track performance against SLAs, escalating issues where needed to maintain high-quality service.

Troubleshoot fulfilment or shipping problems and put preventative processes in place.

Oversee the returns process with the 3PL to ensure accurate and timely stock handling.

Identify and implement improvements to reduce shipping costs or enhance delivery times.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the Customer Support team, providing accurate updates on stock availability, delivery timelines, and order-related issues so customers are kept fully informed.

Share insights and recurring operational themes with management to support ongoing improvements.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain (e-commerce experience preferred).

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts.

Confident using Shopify, 3PL tools, or similar operational systems (or willing to learn quickly).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable solving problems independently.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote working environment.
