Shopify Store Designer/E-Commerce Manager

 Job Description:

Outsource Ability, is seeking a skilled professional to redesign and optimise existing Shopify store for better conversions, while managing day-to-day operations including product management, order fulfilment, inventory control, and performance analysis. This role combines strategic design expertise with hands-on e-commerce management to drive sustained sales growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Redesign and optimise existing Shopify store, including theme customisation, layout improvements, UX enhancements, and conversion-focused updates
  • Implement changes to Shopify store, including creating, redesigning, and making updates to existing store
  • Add and manage product listings, including descriptions, images, variants, pricing, and collections
  • Edit and upload products accurately and efficiently
  • Implement and maintain Shopify apps, plugins, and add-ons for enhanced functionality (payments, shipping, reviews, upsells, automation)
  • Fulfil customer orders, process shipments, handle refunds/returns, and coordinate with suppliers or warehouses as needed
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, stock updates, and reordering to prevent stockouts or overstock
  • Analyse store performance metrics (sales, traffic, conversion rates, AOV, abandonment rates) and generate reports with actionable recommendations
  • Perform ongoing store maintenance, troubleshooting, A/B testing, and seasonal/promotional updates
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure store alignment with campaigns, branding, and promotions
  • Provide customer support, manage support tickets, and handle customer service enquiries professionally

Requirements

  • Own laptop and reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Must have backup power supply such as UPS or Solar
  • Minimum of two years experience in:
  • Implementing changes to Shopify stores
  • Creating, redesigning, and making updates to stores
  • Editing and uploading products
  • Implementing Shopify apps, plugins, and add-ons
  • Providing customer support, managing support tickets, and handling customer service enquiries
  • Proven experience designing/redesigning and managing Shopify stores, with demonstrable improvements in conversions, sales, or user experience
  • Hands-on expertise in Shopify platform administration, including product management, order fulfilment, and inventory control
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, UX/UI best practices, and conversion rate optimisation
  • Data-driven approach with experience using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar tools to track and report performance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks remotely
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
