Front Office Agent
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Office Agent to join our dynamic hotel team in St. Julian's. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. Your responsibilities will include guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, addressing inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
Key Responsibilities

Guest Reception & Check-In/Check-Out: Welcome guests upon arrival, efficiently process check-ins and check-outs, and provide necessary information about the hotel and its amenities.

Reservations Management: Handle reservations via phone, email, and walk-ins, ensuring accurate booking details and confirmations.

Guest Inquiries & Assistance: Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options.

Billing & Payment Processing: Accurately process guest payments, manage billing inquiries, and maintain financial records in accordance with hotel policies.

Communication & Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met and issues are resolved swiftly.

Security & Safety: Monitor guest access, ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises, and report any incidents or irregularities to management.

Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate guest records, prepare daily reports, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in hospitality or a related field is advantageous.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry. Experience with Opera PMS is required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera PMS preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.

Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
