Audit Manager
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients. The selected candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Management

Plan, coordinate, and lead audit engagements from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and client communication.
Team Leadership

Supervise, coach, and mentor audit seniors and staff, providing ongoing feedback and supporting professional development.
Quality Assurance

Ensure audit work complies with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and relevant regulatory requirements, as well as internal quality control procedures.
Technical Review

Review financial statements, audit reports, and working papers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key client contacts and act as the primary liaison throughout engagements.
Risk Management

Identify audit risks and implement appropriate responses; resolve complex accounting and auditing issues as they arise.
Reporting

Present audit findings, recommendations, and insights clearly and effectively to clients and senior stakeholders.
Business Development

Support proposal preparation, client presentations, and initiatives aimed at expanding service offerings and growing the client base.
Regulatory Compliance

Stay informed of changes in accounting standards, auditing regulations, and industry developments to ensure continued compliance and best practice.
Qualifications & Skills

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).

Minimum 5+ years audit experience, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial capacity.

Strong technical knowledge of accounting frameworks such as IFRS, US GAAP, or UK GAAP.

Excellent project management and organisational skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Strong leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
