Front Office Supervisor

 Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Front Office Supervisor to lead our front desk team in St. Julian's. In this role, you will oversee daily front office operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support the team in delivering efficient and professional service. You will also act as a liaison between management and staff, helping maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate front office staff, ensuring smooth daily operations, high morale, and adherence to service standards.

  • Guest Service Excellence: Handle guest complaints, special requests, and inquiries professionally, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

  • Operations Management: Oversee check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, billing, and all front desk activities to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

  • Staff Training & Development: Train new team members on hotel policies, procedures, and Opera PMS; provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.

  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans when needed.

  • Communication & Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Reporting & Administration: Prepare daily front office reports, monitor occupancy and revenue, and maintain accurate records.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security, and operational policies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in front office operations, with 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience with Opera PMS is required.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work under pressure.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
