About the job Auditor
Our client, a prominent accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Auditor to join their team. The Auditor will be responsible for conducting statutory audits, assessing financial controls, and ensuring compliance with international and local financial regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of industries and develop tailored audit strategies that provide key insights for decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Review financial statements and accounting records to ensure compliance with IFRS or local GAAP.
- Identify potential risks and recommend improvements to internal controls.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with client management to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of tax compliance documents and VAT returns as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in audit or assurance services.
- A professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role.
