Our client is seeking a full-time Audit Senior Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for overseeing audit processes and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Previous experience in an audit firm, particularly within a Big 4 environment, is highly valued
Responsibilities:
As an Audit Senior Associate, you will work as part of a dynamic team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Client Management: Proactively manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring effective communication and reporting to Managers and above.
 - Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior staff, promoting their professional development and enhancing team performance.
 - Self-Development: Utilize feedback and self-reflection to enhance personal strengths and address areas for improvement.
 - Relationship Building: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, adapting your approach to build trust and rapport.
 - Technical Development: Contribute to the development of both your own and your teams technical expertise in auditing standards and practices.
 - Market Awareness: Stay informed about local and national business and economic trends that may have an impact on clients.
 
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Near completion of ACCA, ACA, or a recognized Accounting degree.
 - Experience: A minimum of 3 years of external audit experience within a Big 4 firm is preferred.
 - Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with GAPSME, IFRS, and IASs is essential.
 - Audit Skills: Proven experience in external audit planning, risk assessment, control identification, and testing is required.
 - Internal Audit Experience: Experience in conducting internal audits will be considered an asset.
 - Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication in English.
 - Teamwork & Time Management: Capable of collaborating within a team while managing multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
 
Please note that we are open to considering candidates who have completed a minimum of 9 ACCA papers for an entry-level senior role.
