About the job Secretary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Secretary to join one of our top clients in the finance industry. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in an office environment and will be capable of handling debtor chasing and coordinating workflows across departments. You will provide administrative and secretarial support to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to senior management and the team.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Handle debtor chasing, following up on outstanding payments and maintaining records.
- Assist in coordinating workflows and communications across departments to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
- Manage office documentation and filing systems.
- Answer phone calls, manage emails, and handle correspondence.
- Liaise with internal departments and external service providers as necessary.
- Ensure the office is organized and runs efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Secretary or in a similar administrative role in an office environment
- Ability to handle debtor chasing and coordinate activities between departments
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
