Back-End Developer - Hybrid

We currently have a vacancy for a Back-End Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Development and maintenance of web applications as well as propose solutions design;
• Perform technical migrations and test solutions;
• Production of technical documentation;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Elaborate and improve database models, maintain databases;
• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;
• Guarantee security and confidentiality of the features based on the confidentiality classification assigned through an IT security plan.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Java Spring framework;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Java Spring boot framework;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Java design patterns;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in relational databases;
• Ability to design, build and consume APIs;
• Good knowledge of web services and data formats;
• Good knowledge of git and/or other version control tools;
• Good knowledge of MVC architecture and microservices architecture;
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies;
• Excellent command of the English language.
