Sales Engineer
Job Description:
Our client, a leading provider of industrial automation, electrical, and mechanical products, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Growth Engineer in their Malta office, focused on the local market. As a Growth Engineer (GE), you will be responsible for answering incoming requests, updating software systems, informing clients about web shop capabilities, and liaising with supplier partners.
The engineer title will be applicable to candidates who are eligible for the Maltese engineering warrant. The candidate will be under the supervision of a warranted electrical engineer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Respond to opportunities promptly using software tools, emails, and phone calls.
Providing the customer with a personalized experience by explaining website functionality on the phone, emails and using teams.
Managing customer relationships.
- Visiting customers to form long lasting relationships by illustrating the company concept as well as explaining website functionality.
Organizing workshops or demos at the customer.
Liaising with suppliers in relation to opportunities.
Performing costings on non-codified items.
Submitting quotes to customers.
Support other members of the team from time to time.
Maintaining customer database.
Implementing software changes and other projects of a technical nature.
Characteristics of who we are looking for:
A self-starter who is energetic with a can-do attitude.
Drive to complete tasks using honest and compassionate customer facing tactics.
Strong command of Maltese and English.
Possess a driving license and their own means transportation.
Computer literate and strong command of Microsoft office suite.
Experience in software and business process re-engineering will be considered a
strong asset.
