We are pleased to be assisting our client in the search for a professional and customer-focused Bar Attendant. This role requires an individual with proven experience in a 5-star environment, excellent knowledge of beverages, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, serve, and bid farewell to all clients.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and food items.

• Assess customer needs and make recommendations.

• Interact with guests and conduct follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.

• Handle payments accurately.

• Open and close the bar area.

• Restock and replenish inventory.

• Maintain knowledge of beverage lists and menus.

• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of the work area.

• Report complaints, comments, or breakages.

• Place internal orders from Main Stores.

• Dispose of waste correctly.

• Perform additional tasks as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a 5-star environment.

• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, coffee, tea, and other beverages.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

• Flexibility to work in shifts.

• Attention to detail with a positive, professional attitude.

• Strong English language skills (spoken and written).

• Hands-on experience with cash handling and ideally Micros Simphony POS.

• Valid local Food Handling License in accordance with the Food Safety Commission of Malta.
