Graphic Designer & Photographer

Position Overview

OutPLEX is seeking a talented Graphic Designer / Photographer on a contract, as-needed basis. This individual will support marketing and branding initiatives by capturing and editing professional photographs, creating graphic assets, and preparing visual content for websites and other digital platforms.

The contractor may provide services for OutPLEX and affiliated brands, depending on project needs.

This is not a full-time salaried position. Work will be assigned as projects arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs for marketing and business purposes.
• Edit and retouch photos using professional editing software.
• Design graphics for websites, digital marketing materials, and other branding initiatives.
• Prepare web-ready images and visual assets.
• Ensure designs align with company branding guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver creative solutions based on project requirements.
• Perform additional graphic design tasks as requested.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in graphic design, photography, or a related creative field.
• Equivalent professional experience is acceptable; a formal Graphic Designer title is not required.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or equivalent graphic editing software.
• Experience with image editing, color correction, and photo retouching.
• Ability to prepare optimized graphics for websites and digital platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Own a capable PC and a semi-professional camara.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign, etc.).
• Portfolio demonstrating graphic design and photography work.
• Experience creating marketing or corporate branding materials.
• Basic understanding of web image optimization and digital design best practices.

Language Requirements

• English proficiency is not required.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome.

Employment Details

• Independent contractor position.
• Work is provided on an as-needed basis.
• No guaranteed weekly hours.
• Compensation will be determined per project or assignment.
