We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Assistant who will help us with the payments, reporting etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Verifies the accuracy and completeness of source/supporting documents for all requests for payments, including but not limited to supplier invoices, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, cash advances, fund reimbursements, petty cash replenishments, and staff quitclaims.
2. Prepares Payment Request Forms (PRFs), assigns accounting entries, and enters transactions into QuickBooks Online.
3. Attaches Cash Vouchers (CVs) to the PRF when payments are made.
4. Prepares certificates of creditable tax withheld at source (BIR Form 2307) and forwards them
to suppliers/payees after obtaining the Finance Officer's signature.
5. Files all processed CVs in numerical sequence.
6. Prepares bank reconciliations.
7. Maintains hard copies of BIR-registered invoices (sales invoices and acknowledgment
receipts).
8. Maintains a copy of the loose-leaf book of accounts extracted from the accounting system and
summarized in the BIR-approved template.
9. Assists the finance team during year-end processes and BIR audits.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or Management Accounting.
2. At least two years of accounting-related experience.
3. Experience using QuickBooks Online or any computerized accounting system.
4. Knowledge of Philippine taxation rules related to withholding, invoice issuance, and
bookkeeping.
5. Willing to work on-site at the Pasig office, Monday to Friday.
