About the job Lease Administrator & Finance Officer
Role Purpose:
Our client is a leading commercial property fund manager with over $1.1 billion in assets under management.
They are seeking a highly detail-oriented and reliable Lease Administrator / Finance Officer based in the Philippines to support their asset management and finance teams.
This dual-role position combines lease administration duties (with a focus on MRI Property software) and core finance support functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and data entry.
The role is remote and offers flexibility for candidates with strong English communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and prior experience in real estate or finance environments.
Key responsibilities:
Lease Administration (MRI)
- Maintain and update lease data in MRI, including new leases, renewals, rent reviews, and expiries
- Generate and review lease abstracts, critical dates, and payment schedules
- Monitor and follow up on key lease events such as option periods, CPI reviews, and expiries
- Assist in preparing monthly lease status reports and tenancy schedules
- Reconcile lease information with property managers and asset managers to ensure accuracy
- Upload and organise executed lease documentation and correspondence
Finance Officer (Accounts Payable & Receivable)
- Process invoices and purchase orders in the accounting system in line with approval workflows
- Assist with tenant invoicing, receipting, and AR reconciliations
- Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies
- Support monthly accruals, journal entries, and reporting schedules
- Perform bank data entry, coding, and upload for payment runs
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and documentation gathering
Work Environment
- Remote, work-from-home position based in the Philippines
- Must have stable internet and a quiet working environment
- Work hours to be materially aligned to Sydney, Australia business hours
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with Asset Managers, Capital Transactions Team, Finance Team, External Stakeholders (tax advisers), Investors, and Founder/Director of the business
- Act as a true business partner
Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience in lease administration, property accounting, or finance roles
- Experience using MRI Property Management software is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of lease structures and basic commercial property terminology
- Proficiency in Excel and data entry accuracy
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
