Senior Front End Developer (UI/UX)

About the role: 

Our client is an Internet Service Provider, and we are looking for a Front End developer with strong UX design skills to join our development team. As a Front End Developer at Telair, you are
central to developing the digital interfaces that connect our customers with our services. Your main tasks will include designing and building intuitive customer portals and service signup forms that are user-friendly and engaging.

Responsibilities: 

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and Enhance Customer Interfaces: Design, develop, and enhance interactive customer portals and service signup forms. Ensure these platforms are responsive, accessible, and easy to navigate.
• UX/UI Design: Take charge of the user experience design for all customer-facing interactions. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with our vision of offering a seamless customer experience.
• Collaboration with Backend Teams: Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and data handling mechanisms, ensuring a smooth and functional interface.
• Testing and Optimization: Implement rigorous testing protocols to identify bugs and optimise the performance of front-end applications. Utilise feedback to make informed enhancements.
• Adopt Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest trends in front-end development and UX design. Implement these practices to continuously improve our platforms.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed interfaces, ensuring sustainability and ease of future enhancements.
• Customer Feedback Integration: Regularly gather and integrate customer feedback into the development process to refine user interfaces and enhance usability.

Essential skills, attributes and qualities:

• HTML5/CSS3: Expertise in creating responsive and accessible web interfaces.
• JavaScript: Proficiency in ES6+ for dynamic content manipulation.
• Svelte & AlpineJS: Skilled in using these modern frameworks to build efficient and interactive web applications with minimal code.
• Django: Understanding of integrating frontend components with Django for backend interactions, such as form handling and user authentication.
• jQuery: Experience with DOM manipulation, event handling, and AJAX for enhanced interactivity.
• CSS Frameworks: Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for rapid and consistent UI development.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git for code versioning and collaboration.
• API Integration: Capable of working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for dynamic data management.
• Web Performance Optimization: Knowledge of techniques to improve load times and responsiveness.
• Testing: Familiar with testing frameworks like Playwright.
• Web Accessibility: Commitment to developing applications that adhere to WCAG and ARIA standards.
