Role Overview:
Internal-Facing Role: This is an internal-facing SEO Specialist, youll be the day-to-day support for our SEO & Content Marketing team working directly with the Director of SEO, Senior SEO Consultants, and the Digital Analyst.
You will:
- Manage your own task list in Notion, delivering on-time against briefs and adapting templates as needed.
- Assist on large client accounts by translating strategic direction into practical execution across outreach, research, and reporting.
- Conduct ideation and competitor research to surface new content angles and keyword opportunities.
- Execute high-volume keyword & intent research, content briefing, and site audits, applying insights to drive optimisation.
- Support monthly reporting and daily performance checks, packaging client-ready insights in our standard templates.
- Use AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT) to draft detailed outlines, feedback, and recommendations from briefs.
- Take on ad-hoc administrative and project tasks to keep campaigns running smoothly.
- Stay up to date with the latest in digital marketing, AEO and
semantic SEO processes.
Role Requirements:
- Keyword Research & Consumer Intent Research at Scale: Conduct large-scale discovery and competitor gap analysis using SEMrush or Ahrefs, within our Webprofits templates.
- Site Audits & Technical QA: Perform comprehensive site audits per brief (Screaming Frog), track and QA developer fixes, and monitor implementation of SEO recommendations.
- Outreach Campaigns & Linkbuilding: Execute and manage link-building campaigns in Apollo.io CRM, report campaign performance, and conduct backlink gap analysis.
- AI-Enhanced Briefing: Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to draft and refine content outlines, optimization suggestions, and high-level insights ready for team presentation.
- Offsite Research & Content Opportunities: Conduct competitor and industry research to inform content briefs and identify new content angles (multilingual and APAC-focused SEO).
- Monthly Reporting & Performance Reviews: Prepare and present high-level SEO performance reports (SEMrush, GA4), own the reporting of initiative outcomes back to consultants, and monitor metric trends.
- Process & Administration: Facilitate SEO admin with third-party vendors, manage prescriptive brief lists, track time in Harvest, escalate issues proactively, and uphold data integrity across tools.
- Some Paid Channel Support: Assist with emerging channels (Expedia Travel Ads, Koddi) under guidance; training provided.
- AEO & Semantic SEO Development: Contribute to AEO and
LLM-based SEO processes; apply semantic language expertise for future-focused
Experience Required:
The successful candidate must have:
- 4+ years of SEO experience in an agency setting.
- Expertise in SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA4, Google Search Console.
- Proficient with Apollo.io or similar CRM for outreach management.
- Strong written communication; able to craft client-ready, high-level insights and briefs.
- Data-driven mindset with attention to detail and ability to QA technical implementations.
- Self-starter: manages own workload, tracks time in Harvest, escalates blockers, and asks clarifying questions.
- Familiarity with APAC/localised SEO tactics, multilingual considerations, and local SERP features.
- Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT) for SEO tasks; understanding of LLMs and semantic SEO is a plus

backlink gap analysis, outreach performance tracking - Project & Time Management: Harvest (or equivalent) for time tracking; self-management, escalation, adherence to briefs
