About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Power BI and a passion for turning raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI to deliver actionable insights to business users.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into scalable BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and visualizations.
  • Optimize the performance and efficiency of BI solutions through advanced query tuning, report optimization, and data-loading enhancements.
  • Facilitate discussions around data, metrics, and business use cases, actively seeking feedback to improve dashboard performance, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Maintain data security and access control by implementing appropriate Power BI security features.
  • Stay current with Power BI updates, emerging tools, and best practices to continuously enhance BI capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience developing with Power BI.
  • Power BI Expertise: Proficiency in Power Query, data modeling, DAX, relationships, and security configurations.
  • SQL Skills: Basic to intermediate SQL experience for querying and managing data.
  • Spreadsheet Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Google Sheet or similar tools for data manipulation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and drive insights, with a proven track record of working on big data analytics projects.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data effectively.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with critical decision-making skills.
  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver impactful results.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications (a plus):

  • PowerBI Certified.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps Script for process automation and data integration.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics industry or similar domains.
