Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented General Virtual Assistant (VA) to provide administrative and digital marketing support to our team. This role involves managing daily administrative tasks such as scheduling, email management, data entry, and customer service, while also assisting with basic digital marketing tasks like content updates, social media management, and research. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and possess a basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, email handling, and document management.
  • Assist in updating content on websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
  • Handle social media management, including scheduling posts, updating content calendars, and basic engagement (responding to comments and messages).
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and data collection to support digital marketing efforts.
  • Provide customer service support through email, chat, or social media channels.
  • Manage databases and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and marketing data.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
  • Monitor and report on social media performance and engagement metrics.
  • Perform other administrative and marketing-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including social media platforms, content management, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Microsoft Office, and social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
  • Knowledge of SEO and online marketing strategies.
  • Experience working in a digital marketing or related industry.
