Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Leasing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the real estate market and be proficient in Appfolio, Buildium, or other property management tools. The role involves managing leasing processes, coordinating with tenants and landlords, and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leasing Management: Oversee the entire leasing process, including listing properties, screening potential tenants, scheduling showings, and handling lease agreements.
- Tenant and Landlord Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and landlords, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Property Management Software Utilization: Efficiently use property management tools to manage property listings, tenant applications, and lease documents.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on trends and pricing in the New York real estate market.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to leasing activities.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing schedules.
- Compliance: Ensure all leasing activities comply with local and state regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing coordination.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Customer Service: A customer-oriented attitude with the ability to resolve conflicts and issues efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Real Estate License (preferred but not required).
- Local Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of US neighborhoods and rental market dynamics.
