Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Coordinator to oversee and streamline maintenance operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring properties are well-maintained, coordinating with vendors, and managing work orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance Scheduling

    • Plan and schedule regular maintenance activities to maintain properties in excellent condition.
    • Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and costly repairs.
  2. Vendor Coordination

    • Act as the primary liaison with external service providers for repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
    • Ensure quality and timeliness of services provided by vendors.
  3. Work Order Management

    • Track, prioritize, and manage work orders to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.
    • Communicate updates to relevant stakeholders regarding the status of work orders.
  4. Inventory Management

    • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
    • Ensure adequate stock levels to avoid delays in maintenance tasks.
  5. Software Proficiency

    • Utilize property management platforms such as Appfolio, Buildium, or similar tools for efficient tracking and management of maintenance activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in property management, maintenance coordination, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Appfolio, Buildium, or comparable platforms is required.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with vendors and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
